Account Manager (Social & Campaigns)

 

We are looking for an exceptional Account Manager to take a key position at Big Spaceship.

 

Big Spaceship is a digital agency based in Brooklyn that brings together product design, brand communications and social content to help businesses thrive.

 

This role requires a true hard worker with an entrepreneurial spirit, experience in social, a love for culture and the ability to champion Big Spaceship’s work, culture and process from afar.

 

The Account Manager must be both good with clients, project management and hands-on, have a strong organizational sensibility and be 100% committed to delivering fantastic creative ideas and work that stays on-objective, matching up to client challenges seamlessly. You must feel comfortable working with individuals at all levels within our client’s organizations and be able to work across cross-functional teams (social, strategy, design, analytics and technology).

 

You must be able to understand project management and marketing planning processes and ensure that client deliverables and expectations are not only met, but exceeded. You must be strategic, creative, detailed and organized.

 
ROLE + RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Partner with content team to develop custom social promo ideas, aligning with different cultural moments & brand campaigns for the client
  • Identify pro-active content & strategic opportunities for the client, drawing from the latest cultural news and social platform updates
  • Create & manage deliverable timelines for projects
  • Manage creative team deliverable tracker & work with Resource Manager to identify team member availability
  • Diligently manage & delegate tasks across multiple disciplines - design, copy, analytics & strategy
  • Document & synthesize client feedback to communicate next steps and deliverables for internal teams
  • Owner of notes, expenses and other admin tasks for the account.

 

SKILLS + EXPERIENCE:
  • 2+ years Account and Project Management experience

  • Experience in delivering/managing integrated digital/social marketing campaigns required

  • Success in contributing strategic solutions and POVs that engage consumers and build brands in digital and social channels

  • Possess excellent project management skills and share information proactively and efficiently

  • Excellent communication/presentation skills

  • Be solutions-oriented - focused on recommending solutions, rather than simply raising red flags

  • Social media experience is a must
